KIMMY from SANDYKAYE BEARS

This is the first KIMMY Bear The pattern was supposed to be more like the Japanese anime type, but it took on a life of its own and became as you see it. I apologise for the fact that the colour reproduction is not good on this photograph as he is made with a pale peach upholstery coloured fabric and pale mushroom coloured ultrasuede pads and inner ears and he stands just approx. 3 1/2" tall.
I wanted to see what a second version was like - was it going to look similar or totally different from the first one? I decided that there was a definite 'look' and so it seemed a good idea to use this as a basic pattern design for my KIMMY BEARS. This little bear is made out of white upholstery velvet with blue ultra suede paw pads and inner ears. He is a little smaller than the first KIMMY BEAR above stand about 3 1/4" tall.
This is the third KIMMY bear made using a darker fabric than before as I wanted to see if I could use ultra suede circles to accentuate his eyes. I also needlescuplted his paws, but it didn't seem to make him any happier! He stands at approximately 3 1/4" tall and is made from a beautifully rich copper coloured upholstery fabric and pale cream paw pads.
This is the smallest KIMMY bear I have made so far. He is only 2 1/4" tall and made in pale lilac and pepermint green upholstery fabric.
